
Princess Medical Centre was honored by the prestigious Port Harcourt Polo Club on 14th January, 2021 with a CRYSTAL AWARD.
This award was in recognition of the hospital’s uncompromising dedication and support to the development and growth of the equestrian sport of Polo Club in Rivers State. The award was hosted at the 50th anniversary celebration of the club and the 2022 golden jubilee Polo tournament. What a way to start the year.
The multi-specialty hospital had over fifteen years provided medical services to the club during her annual polo tournaments on pro bono publico. According to the club, the consistency in this service delivery has been unparalled.
The amiable Medical Doctor turned entrepreneur, a former commissioner of health in Rivers State who is also the current National Vice President – Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines of Agriculture (NACCIMA) Dr. Emi Membere-Otaji was on hand to present the award to the hospital and other corporate recipients including Shell on behalf of the Port Harcourt Polo Club.
The occasion was graced by dignitaries including past governors, members of the diplomatic core, and representatives of the governors of both Rivers and Bayelsa States as well as notable captains of the industry.
The beat goes on as the hospital keeps soaring higher and higher in fame. To God be the glory.
